In a special interview on the “Huna Al Khaleej” podcast, in collaboration with the Arab Strategy Forum, journalist Jamal Al Mulla hosted Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor to discuss the intersection of economics and politics, and the role of business leaders in supporting national stability.
Al Habtoor emphasised that a businessman’s foremost priority should be their country, describing business leaders as partners in nation-building whose role extends beyond investment to active societal contribution. Reflecting on the global financial crisis and COVID-19, he highlighted the UAE’s resilience, driven by strategic vision and strong leadership.
He also called for greater regional cooperation based on transparency and shared interests, while reaffirming that investing in tangible assets, such as real estate, remains a stable long-term strategy. He concluded by encouraging young people to stay disciplined, committed, and focused on building a sustainable future.
